Continually Crumbled, Habitually Humbled
July 8th, 2007 by bouncingneutrinos“Do not gloat over me, my enemy!
Though I have fallen, I will rise.
Though I sit in darkness,
the LORD will be my light.
Because I have sinned against him,
I will bear the LORD’s wrath,
until he pleads my case
and establishes my right.
He will bring me out into the light;
I will see his righteousness.
Then my enemy will see it
and will be covered with shame,
she who said to me,
"Where is the LORD your God?"
My eyes will see her downfall;
even now she will be trampled underfoot
like mire in the streets.”
~The prophet Micah
End of an Era
June 13th, 2007 by bouncingneutrinosIt’s
official.
I
am no longer a dormer.
I
could so easily freak out right now.
For
quite some time now being a dormer defined a large part of who I was, I always
loved being a dormer since its convenient and my close friends live with me
under one roof. I never got homesick probably because I was sick of home when I
was 12 years old, I wanted independence and the prospect of being in charge of
my own time allured me. Now I’m in a state of apoplexy even though I thought I
prepared myself for this months ago; I think I don’t know myself the way I used
to anymore. It’s inevitable anyway, I’ve been a dormer ever since I was a
teenager; 7 years must come to an end. But the coincidence that I am no longer
a dormer and teenager at the same time is a funny cosmic joke, the order is
destructive and the punch line smacks right to my nose.
Hahaha.
"7
means completion" takes a whole new meaning for me. I’ll always have the
memories and experiences, the fun and sad moments and how being a dormer shaped
my character and how I associate with people.
I
wish I’m a turtle, if I were I won’t have any issues about a convenient place
to live in.
Twentieth “Day After Independence Day”
June 13th, 2007 by bouncingneutrinos“Give
thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
his love endures forever.
Let Israel say:
"His love endures forever."
Let
the house of Aaron say:
"His love endures forever."
Let those who fear the LORD say:
"His love endures forever."
In my anguish I cried to the LORD,
and he answered by setting me free.
The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me?
The LORD is with me; he is my helper.
I will look in triumph on my enemies.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD
than to trust in man.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD
than to trust in princes.
All the nations
surrounded me,
but in the name of the LORD I cut them
off.
They surrounded me on
every side,
but in the name of the LORD I cut them
off.
They swarmed around me
like bees,
but they died out as quickly as burning
thorns;
in the name of the LORD I cut them off.
I was pushed back and about to fall,
but the LORD helped me.
The LORD is my strength and my song;
he has become my salvation.
Shouts of joy and
victory
resound in the tents of the righteous:
"The
LORD’s right hand has done mighty things!
The LORD’s right hand is lifted high;
the LORD’s right hand has done mighty
things!"
I will not die but live,
and will proclaim what the LORD has done.
The LORD has chastened me severely,
but he has not given me over to death.
Open for me the gates of righteousness;
I will enter and give thanks to the LORD.
This is the gate of the LORD
through which the righteous may enter.
I will give you thanks, for you answered me;
you have become my salvation.
The stone the builders rejected
has become the capstone;
the LORD has done this,
and it is marvelous in our eyes.
This is the day the LORD has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.
O LORD, save us;
O LORD, grant us success.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD.
From the house of the LORD we bless you.
The LORD is God,
and he has made his light shine upon us.
With boughs in hand, join in the festal
procession
up to the horns of the altar.
You are my God, and I will give you thanks;
you are my God, and I will exalt you.
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
his love endures forever.”
Happy Birthday to me.
Thank you, my Lord, for everything You’ve done. Thank you for being good to me.
A - Brainy - Challenge (A-Boring-Challenge?)
May 12th, 2007 by bouncingneutrinosTry to make a paragraph composed of words following the sequence of the
alphabet from the first letter "A" to the last. The paragraph must
make even a little sense, here’s what I made:
“A biologist currently dies every Friday. Government hired
investigators. “Jack Killer” London’s most notorious, obviously perhaps quick
reasonable suspect. The undergoing violence worried xenophobic young zoologists.”
Hahaha! Now, you try.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEF!!!

by Chris Tomlin
You are my supply
My breath of life
Still more awesome than I know
You are my reward
Worth living for
Still more awesome than I know
And all of You is more than enough for
All of me, for every thirst and
Every need, You satisfy me
With Your love,
And all I have in You is more than enough
You’re the Sacrifice
Of greatest price
Still more awesome than I know
You’re my coming King
You’re my everything
Still more awesome than I know
More than all I want
More than all I need
You are more than enough for me
More than all I know
More than all I can see
You are more than enough for me

I’ll update the list based on additions that are suggested; but only with songs I know and am familiar with… hehehe.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Presenting My Nephew
March 26th, 2007 by bouncingneutrinosMy ate Ahmar
gave birth to a bouncing baby boy Thursday last week, March 22, 2007 at 7:07pm
and he is my first nephew from my mother’s side of the family; ladies and
gentlemen please welcome to the world my nephew: Audric Radley. His name means
"Righteous Ruler of Red Meadows" his parents didn’t name him for that
though, they just liked the sound of the combination. Now that he’s here though
means I won’t be ate Ahmar’s baby anymore, huhuhu.
Hahaha! Anyway,
looking at the baby made me remember FW Boreham’s line from The Sword of
Solomon: "On this higher plane of human sentiment and experience, the laws
of mathematics collapse completely… No happy couple into the sweet shelter of
whose home a little child has come will ever be convinced that two and one are
only three. Life has been enriched a thousand fold by the addition of that one
little life to theirs." and I really praise God for blessing my family by
giving us a new member, a new generation. My grandfather and grandmother are
now great grandparents; my mother, aunts and uncles are now grandparents; and I
together with my siblings and cousins are now uncles and aunts.
I
envy the kid though; I wish I have the same lifestyle; just eating and
sleeping. It’s amazing how he can be so relaxed; to think he just went through
the most traumatic experience any human being can have in a lifetime: being
born. The experience with my nephew did make me realize something. The baby
just underwent the scariest adaptation any human being would know, afterwards
forgets about it and is now relaxed sleeping on the bed waiting to be fed at
three hour intervals. In a few years time he’ll grow older and the baby we once
knew would be a totally different person. On church that Sunday in forceful
words the pastor made us remember that "Jesus is the same yesterday, today
and forever." Indeed in this life, changes do come; and it can be scary
sometimes. Take it from me, with changes happening in my life from all sides I
am nothing less than mortified. But isn’t it reassuring that Jesus never
changes? I don’t know about you, but it is for me. And I am overwhelmed to know
that the same Jesus who loved me even when I was unlovable; loves me still even
when I am now -if possible- more unlovable than before.

The Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu
translated as Fire Element: Art of the Grand Fireball, is a standard ninja
technique used by ninjas with an elemental affinity with fire. The ninja performing this ninja art should be aware that the secret
to doing it excellently is -like any other fire element technique- found
in proper breathing. The ninja collects a large amount of chakra in his breath
while at the same time performs the proper seals to mold the chakra into fire
after which in a tremendous exhale, the ninja would release a large fireball
erupting from his mouth. This technique is not expected to be performed by an
amateur ninja… that is, unless he is born superb.
